The Seattle Mariners got a rain-soaked win over the Texas Rangers.

The Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers, 9-6, at Globe Life Field. Kyle Schwarber, who is tied for 4th in the AL in bases on balls with 52, starred for Seattle. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ryan Yarbrough snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 3 innings. He's now 2-3 on the season.

Xander Bogaerts drew 1 walk in 7 plate appearances for Seattle. The 32-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the 14th. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Camilo Doval. It was his 28th RBI of the season.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Bogaerts. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."

The Mariners go to 30-52 with the win.
