Orioles Earn 3-2 Win Versus Rays
The Baltimore Orioles faced a tough opponent in Tampa Bay pitcher David Peterson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Oriole Park at Camden Yards by a final score of 3-2. Peterson went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Josh Sborz got the save, his 9th in 15 chances. Baltimore is now 40-43, Tampa Bay 28-55.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Baltimore get the win.

After the game, Baltimore manager Doc D applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
