White Sox Beaten By Rockies, 3-1

The Colorado Rockies converted a terrific effort from starter Max Fried into a win over the Chicago White Sox at Colorado Field. The Rockies won the game by a final score of 3-1. Raisel Iglesias was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 19 of 23 save opportunities. The setback makes Chicago 40-48.
In the top of the ninth, Geraldo Perdomo stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The White Sox were trailing 3-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Raisel Iglesias made a terrific pitch and Perdomo struck out. Gone was the dream of a Chicago comeback.
