Phillies Pick Up 7-2 Win Against San Francisco
|
The Philadelphia Phillies stymied the San Francisco Giants, 7-2, at Oracle Park. Josh Bell had a good day at the plate. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double for Philadelphia. Philadelphia reliever Hogan Harris was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Alex Cobb. With the win, Philadelphia raised its record to 57-34.
In the top of the fourth, Philadelphia right fielder Jung-hoo Lee had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Lee stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 4-1, Philadelphia. For the game, he went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
