Los Angeles turned a good performance from starting pitcher Luis Garcia into a 5-2 triumph over the Cleveland Guardians at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Los Angeles reliever Tyler Anderson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Enyel De Los Santos took the loss. Los Angeles is now 43-48, while Cleveland is 50-40.

Los Angeles got a knockout punch from Gunnar Henderson. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We've got great fans," said Garcia. "I hope they got what they came for."
