Guardians Deal Chicago 6-1 Defeat
|
Cleveland turned a good effort from starter Dylan Cease into a win over the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Guardians won the game, 6-1. After today's action, Cleveland sits at 51-43, while Chicago falls to 44-51.
Cleveland first baseman Alec Bohm helped the Guardians go up, 2-1, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Bohm hit a run-scoring single off Chicago pitcher Cole Ragans.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Cease said.
