Astros Suffer 6-1 Home Defeat
|
Toronto pitcher Justin Steele did his part in helping his team beat the Houston Astros, 6-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Steele picked up the win for Toronto, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 11-4. Toronto is now 43-53, while Houston is 54-43.
It could have been a different outcome for Toronto, had it not been for Max Muncy, the slugging third baseman . Muncy contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put Toronto up, 2-0.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Houston manager Logan F.
