Yusei Kikuchi never let Arizona get something going. The Oakland left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Athletics to a 3-0 win. Oakland has now won 3 in a row.

The Athletics got a big at-bat from left fielder Josh Lowe. For the game, Lowe went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Oakland a 2-0 lead.
