Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Colorado Rockies and Minnesota Twins.

The Colorado Rockies topped the Minnesota Twins, 4-2, in National League action at Colorado Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Colorado pitcher Shane McClanahan. With the win, the Rockies sit at 58-39.

Cal Raleigh had a big solo home run for the Rockies in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Colorado leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from Spencer Schwellenbach, who is tied for 8th in the AL in strikeouts with 129, and punished it. The result was his 16th home run of the season, which put the Rockies on top, 3-1.

Said losing manager Jonathan A: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
