Guardians Sneak By Astros, 7-6
The Cleveland Guardians picked up a win at Progressive Field, knocking off the Houston Astros, 7-6, in 10 innings. On the mound for Cleveland was right-hander Paul Skenes. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Houston's current losing streak is now 5 games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mickey Moniak in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Kelly to win the game for Cleveland. The home crowd went nuts.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Skenes.
