Sam Hilliard powered the Pittsburgh Pirates to a win over the Chicago White Sox. The final score was 5-4. The Pittsburgh left fielder was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Pittsburgh reliever Landen Roupp picked up the win, upping his record to 2-4. Kevin Ginkel took the loss. Pittsburgh is now 42-58, while Chicago is 46-54.

The decisive blow was delivered by Christian Yelich in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Ginkel to win the game for Pittsburgh. The home crowd went nuts.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Yelich.
