Starting pitcher George Kirby was a major factor in the 2-1 Oakland Athletics triumph over the Seattle Mariners. The winner was Nick Lodolo in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Elvis Peguero took the loss. The defeat makes Seattle 41-62.

Kyle Tucker was the walk-off hero for Oakland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Athletics designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
