Ohtani Silences Colorado Bats
|
Baltimore pitcher Shohei Ohtani helped his team beat the Colorado Rockies, 4-3. Ohtani, who is a three-time All-Star, went 0 for 0 for the Orioles. Josh Sborz got the save, his 15th in 23 chances. Baltimore is now 50-54, Colorado 59-44.
Though he didn't earn the victory, Ohtani kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Baltimore offense came through. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 13.
"I had some good swings out there," said Ohtani.
