Fans watched the Atlanta Braves and the Texas Rangers fight to the finish.

The Texas Rangers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Bailey Falter into a win. Instead, the Atlanta Braves prevailed, 6-5. Falter threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Atlanta is now 46-59, Texas 46-59.

The Braves got a big at-bat from designated hitter David Fry. For the game, Fry went 2-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Atlanta a 6-4 lead.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Fry told the Atlanta Daily News.
