Michael King, who finished 4th in the AL in saves with 34 in 2023, was terrific for the Oakland Athletics in his team's 13-1 triumph over the Seattle Mariners. His performance earned King rave reviews. Oakland improves to 59-47 with the win. They lead their division by 3½ games.

Oakland starter Michael King was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed 1 run on a miserly 2 hits over 8.2 innings with no bases on balls.
