Tampa Bay turned a good effort from starter Tylor Megill into a win over the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. The Rays won the game, 5-2. The winning pitcher was Megill, now 4-9. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 2. The defeat makes New York 47-61.

Tampa Bay used a clutch at-bat from Kenedy Corona to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rays ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Corona.
