Houston shortstop Joey Ortiz had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Arizona Diamondbacks, 4-3. Earning the save was Jhoan Duran. He's now cashed in 1 of 1 save opportunities. The loss makes Arizona 65-45.
Had Steven Kwan not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Kwan hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Astros.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Arizona skipper Mike R, "and it cost us."
