Ozuna Powers Mariners Offense
A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Marcell Ozuna, who finished 3rd in the NL in runs with 102 in 2021, led the Seattle Mariners to a win over the Texas Rangers, 9-0. Kyle Gibson got the win, improving to 3-5. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. The Mariners improved their record to 45-66 by beating Texas.

Early in the game, Ozuna had a 3-run home run for Seattle. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Mariners on top, 3-0.
