The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels played an exciting game.

New York Yankees starter JP Sears pitched his team past the Los Angeles Angels, 4-2. Keegan Akin got the save, his 19th in 21 chances.

The Yankees got a big at-bat from catcher Yohel Pozo. For the game, Pozo went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 5th home run of the season gave New York a 3-2 lead.

"I'm happy we won," said Sears. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
