McClanahan Now 15-6 Following 5-1 Win
Shane McClanahan, who leads the NL in strikeouts with 190, imposed his will on the Diamondbacks from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the left-hander spearheaded the 5-1 Colorado triumph. The win gives Colorado a season record of 68-47.

McClanahan made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 7.2 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The Colorado left-hander encountered little resistance from the Arizona hitters. His season record is now 15-6.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said McClanahan.
