Sale tossed 96 pitches over 6.1 innings to clinch the win for the Padres. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts in the game.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Sale.
