Rockies Deal Diamondbacks 7-3 Loss
The Colorado Rockies outlasted the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-3, in 10 innings. Byron Buxton provided some punch at the plate for Colorado. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Luke Weaver got the save, his 5th in 5 chances. By defeating Arizona, the first-place Rockies improved to 69-48.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Buxton delivered big-time for Colorado, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Calvin Faucher. The game-changing hit put the Rockies on top, 5-3.
