Max Kepler impressed in the 6-2 Arizona win over Texas. Kepler, who finished 3rd in the AL in RBI with 105 in 2022, was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Calvin Faucher, 3-3, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The win gives Arizona a season record of 69-50.

Arizona used a clutch at-bat from Spencer Horwitz to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Diamondbacks ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
