Pirates Pick Up 7-2 Win Against Milwaukee
Nick Pivetta, who is on pace for 201 strikeouts this season, had a strong outing for the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-2 win. Pivetta, the winner, moves to 7-9. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. The Pirates improved their record to 54-68 by beating Milwaukee.

Pittsburgh used a clutch at-bat from Sam Hilliard to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Pirates ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
