Athletics Earn Win with Late Rally
The Athletics grabbed a win, 3-2, at Oakland Coliseum, overcoming a fine effort from Los Angeles pitcher Jared Jones. Jones went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Oakland reliever Nick Lodolo snagged the win, upping his record to 6-1. Orion Kerkering shouldered the loss. The Oakland win streak is now 3 games.

Keibert Ruiz was the walk-off hero for Oakland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Athletics pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Oakland manager Brad P said.
