Chicago left fielder Jack Suwinski was sensational. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Toronto beat the Cubs, 8-5, in 12 innings. The defeat makes Chicago 72-48.

Toronto got a clutch hit from Carter Kieboom. The first baseman socked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"Exciting game to play in," said Kieboom. "Getting the win makes it even better."
