Tigers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Twins, 7-4
Though he had a stellar game, Jake Rogers could not prevent his team, the Minnesota Twins, from losing, 7-4, to the Detroit Tigers. Rogers went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Detroit raised its record to 78-45 with the win.

One of the clutch hits for Detroit came from one of their biggest talents. In the top of the eighth with two out, Fernando Tatis Jr., who is on pace to hit 41 home runs this season, hit a 2-run single to put the Tigers up, 7-4. For the game, the third baseman went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
