The Reds grabbed a win, 8-5, at Great American Ball Park, overcoming a fine effort from Milwaukee pitcher Ronel Blanco. Blanco went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. This loss makes it 10 in a row for Milwaukee.

Cincinnati went up, 6-2, on Brent Rooker's 28th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Rooker hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Milwaukee pitcher Bryse Wilson feeling irked.
