Casas Shines in 10-4 Minnesota Win
Triston Casas was a vital contributor to the 10-4 Minnesota victory over Detroit. The Twins first baseman went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Brandon Pfaadt picked up the win, lifting his record to 12-8 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 3 in 5 innings, while yielding 4 runs. The win gives Minnesota a season record of 64-59.

Jordan Westburg took Detroit hurler Luis Castillo deep in the bottom of the third. His 3-run home run put the Twins on top, 6-4. In all, Westburg had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
