The Orioles grabbed a win, 4-3, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, overcoming a fine effort from Los Angeles pitcher Luis Garcia. Garcia went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Orioles now have a record of 61-62 with the win over Los Angeles.

Enmanuel Valdez came through with a big-time hit for Baltimore. The left fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Valdez.
