Rays Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Giants, 2-0
The Tampa Bay Rays used a great performance from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Tylor Megill to beat the San Francisco Giants, 2-0, at Oracle Park. The win went to Nick Sandlin in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Ryan Pressly took the loss. The Rays raised their record to 44-80.

Zach McKinstry had a direct impact on the outcome. McKinstry contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Tampa Bay up, 1-0.
