White Sox Deal Royals 4-2 Defeat
|
The Chicago White Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals by the score of 4-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Nathaniel Lowe. Lowe was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the White Sox on the day. The White Sox now have a record of 62-62 with the win over Kansas City.
Chicago took a 4-1 lead on Lowe's 21st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jonathan Cannon in the top of the sixth, propelled Chicago to the win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Lowe.
