The Los Angeles Dodgers knocked off the San Diego Padres, 3-2, in National League action at Petco Park. Los Angeles pitcher and Sabana de la Mar, Dominican Republic, native Luis Severino had an outstanding performance. Los Angeles is now 64-65, San Diego 72-57.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Tyler Stephenson to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," San Diego manager Matt O said, following the tough loss.
