Olson Slugs 2 Home Runs, Mets Beat Braves, 6-3

New York and Atlanta duked it out and the Mets came out victorious.
The New York Mets beat the Atlanta Braves, 6-3, at Truist Park. The Mets got a fine performance from first baseman Matt Olson, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win elevated the Mets to 72-56.
Olson had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-2 sinker from Will Vest, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Mets a 5-2 lead. It was the 28th home run of the year for Olson.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said New York manager Craig K.
