Minnesota and Toronto duked it out and the Twins came out victorious.

Minnesota Twins starter Gerrit Cole turned in a top-notch performance against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. The result was a win for the Twins, 4-1. Minnesota is 69-63 and Toronto, with the loss, 58-74.

Minnesota took a 4-1 lead on Mike Yastrzemski's 11th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Yastrzemski hit in the top of the ninth, left Toronto pitcher Michael Kopech visibly frustrated.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Cole.
