Guardians Get Past Seattle, 11-10
|
The Seattle Mariners got a sterling performance from right fielder Alec Burleson, but the Cleveland Guardians still prevailed, 11-10. Burleson was 3-7 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. The loss makes Seattle 55-81.
The Guardians got a clutch hit from shortstop Masyn Winn. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Guardians.
"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Winn.
