The Los Angeles Dodgers downed the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-4, at PNC Park. Sean Bouchard led the way, going 2-for-3 for Los Angeles. Luis Severino earned the win for Los Angeles. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 10-7. The Dodgers now have a record of 69-69 with the win over Pittsburgh.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Derek Hill to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Bouchard told the Los Angeles Citizen.
