Guardians Roll Past Rays, 10-2
|
The Cleveland Guardians defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 10-2, in American League action at Tropicana Field. Cleveland pitcher Dylan Cease had a standout performance. With the victory, the Guardians upped their record to 73-68.
Colton Cowser helped out the Cleveland cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2.
"We came out aggressive," said Guardians manager Paul B. "We came out swinging the bats."
