Getting a good performance from first baseman Michael Busch, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, 7-4. Busch was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Brewers. The win went to Steven Okert in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Landen Roupp took the loss. Kyle Finnegan earned his 18th save in 20 chances.

Matt Wallner came through with a big-time hit for Milwaukee. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Busch told the Milwaukee Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."

The loss makes Pittsburgh 64-78.
