Colorado Dealt 4-3 Defeat

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Los Angeles Dodgers got the win.
The Los Angeles Dodgers trumped the Colorado Rockies, 4-3, at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles third baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. was terrific. He was 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jared Jones picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-5. He struck out 8 in 6.2 innings.
Chisholm Jr. contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Los Angeles in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, Chisholm Jr. took a changeup from Robert Gasser and stroked the home run to left. His 25th home run of the season allowed the Dodgers to leap in front, 3-2.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Chisholm Jr. told the Los Angeles Citizen.
By defeating Colorado, the last-place Dodgers improved to 72-72.
