Walk-Off Seals 81st Victory for Athletics
The Oakland Athletics knocked off the Minnesota Twins, 5-4, in American League action at Oakland Coliseum. Oakland pitcher and Morioka, Japan, native Yusei Kikuchi had an outstanding performance. Reliever Robert Stephenson picked up the win. His record improves to 5-3. Josh Hader, who is tied for 6th in the AL in saves with 22, took the loss. Oakland goes to 81-64. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.

Oakland got a knockout punch from Jose Siri. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
