Rangers Take Home 1-0 Win Over Arizona
The Texas Rangers topped the Arizona Diamondbacks, 1-0, in American League action at Chase Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas pitcher Keegan Thompson. Camilo Doval converted his 28th save in 31 tries. The victory puts Texas at 54-92.

The Rangers got a big at-bat from left fielder Matt Vierling. For the game, Vierling was 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Texas a 1-0 lead.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Mike R. "That was the problem."
