Big Day for Cabrera in 10-6 Royals Win

Progressive Field was the site for American League action featuring the Cleveland Guardians and Kansas City Royals.
Kansas City designated hitter Oswaldo Cabrera had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Cleveland Guardians, 10-6. Bruce Zimmermann came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 5-2.
A key moment came with two out in the top of the third. That's when Cabrera hit a curveball from Dylan Cease for a 2-run single, putting Kansas City up, 6-4.
"It was a solid team effort," Cabrera said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
