San Francisco Giants starter Max Kranick found his groove in his team's 4-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Ryan Pressly recorded the save, his 35th. The Giants bumped their record to 83-68 with this win.
San Francisco used the timely hitting of Michael A. Taylor to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Giants on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
San Francisco manager Jason M commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
