The Cleveland Guardians topped the Detroit Tigers, 4-2, in American League action at Comerica Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cleveland pitcher Jeffrey Springs. Enyel De Los Santos earned his 15th save in 20 chances. Cleveland now has a record of 79-74 with the win.

The Guardians got a big at-bat from third baseman Alec Bohm. For the game, Bohm was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Cleveland a 2-0 lead.
