Great Effort by Florial Wasted in 8-6 Diamondbacks Loss
|
Arizona right fielder Estevan Florial was sensational. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Milwaukee beat the Diamondbacks, 8-6. Kyle Finnegan converted his 20th save in 30 tries. The Brewers sport a record of 55-98.
Milwaukee took the lead, 8-5, on LaMonte Wade's 19th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Arizona pitcher Jason Adam in the bottom of the seventh.
"It feels good to get this one," Wade told the Milwaukee Times.
