Reds Get 4-3 Win Versus Chicago
The Cincinnati Reds faced a tough opponent in Chicago pitcher Jesus Luzardo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Great American Ball Park by a final score of 4-3. Luzardo went 5 innings and allowed 3 runs. Cincinnati reliever Emmanuel Clase picked up the win, upping his record to 7-3. Chad Green took the loss. Felix Bautista converted his 33rd save in 38 tries.

Cincinnati took a 4-3 lead on Corey Julks's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Julks hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Chicago pitcher Chad Green visibly frustrated.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Julks said.

The Reds improved their record to 75-79 by beating Chicago.
