Pirates Walk It Off for 70th Win of Season
Christian Walker had a good game, but he could not keep the Houston Astros from falling, 10-9, to the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. The Houston third baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs in the loss. Pittsburgh reliever Pierce Johnson picked up the win, raising his record to 2-5. Jhoan Duran was tagged with the loss. The Pirates now have a record of 70-84 with the win over Houston.

The decisive blow was delivered by DaShawn Keirsey Jr. in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Jhoan Duran to win the game for Pittsburgh. The home crowd went nuts.

"This house was rockin'," Keirsey Jr. said.
