Rays Sneak Past Red Sox, 3-2

Tampa Bay and Boston duked it out and the Rays came out victorious.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox, 29-year old right-handed pitcher Grant Holmes was the difference-maker. The Tampa Bay right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The Rays improved their record to 55-100 by beating Boston.
Tampa Bay took a 3-2 lead on Kenedy Corona's 19th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Corona hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Boston pitcher Tyler Holton visibly frustrated.
"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Corona.
