Tampa Bay Loses, 7-5, Despite McKinstry Exploits
The Boston Red Sox weathered an outstanding game by Tampa Bay shortstop Zach McKinstry to topple the Rays, 7-5. McKinstry slugged 3 home runs. Boston pitcher Lucas Giolito got the win. He's now 11-7. Tony Gonsolin was tagged with the loss. Boston is now 76-80. Tampa Bay is 55-101.

Second Baseman Brendan Donovan made an impact for Boston, when he swatted a 3-run home run off Tony Gonsolin in the top of the fourth. For the contest, Donovan went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It never gets old," said Donovan. "Winning, that is."
